Zikula is an open source MVC web application framework, released under the LGPLv3, that allows you to rapidly build websites for any application including all forms of content management. Zikula is fast and flexible and easily extendable via a system on plugins, themes and extensions.

Administration
Zikula has an easy online administration panel for you to manage your site with, and a simple installation/removal system for installing new features.
Developers
Zikula is completely object orientated and MVC compliant which allows developers to easily and rapidly develop new applications. These can be anything from a simply content management system like an image gallery to a powerful and complex application like a billing or membership system.
The Zikula Foundation
Most big open source projects are now supported by a foundation, and Zikula is no exception. The foundation exists to ensure the longjevity of the project, so you can be certain we'll be around in years to come developing the software (we've already been around for half a decade as it is). The foundation handles financial and legal matters and is responsible for infrastructure.
